Lee Coates walks us through the art of landscaping with miniature plants, be they in our home gardens, containers or fairy gardens. He will present the possibilities of adding small Japanese maples, conifers and succulents to the landscape. (These plants will also be available in his Vendor Booth.) website: http://thepapercretepotter.blogspot.com
Students walk away with mold, pot, printed instructions, safety tips, large bag for pot. His students have ranged from 5-93, and have included a blind person and people with limited dexterity. Workshops are available on Thursday, June 7 and throughout State Conference.
Lee Coates is a semi-retired plant geek, writer, speaker, and purveyor of fine Ozarkian humor that he has shared at Master Gardener Conferences in Missouri, Illinois, Texas and Alabama. He is known as The Papecrete Potter because in his workshops he teaches students to create a Papercrete Pot. (See Workshop above)
